Today Deutz-Fahr is a trademark of SAME Deutz-Fahr Group S.p.A. Under this brand is a wide range of tractors, telescopic loaders, combine harvesters, forage harvesting equipment and precision farming systems.

 

1864 - the foundation of Nicolaus Augustus Otto Motorenfabrik N.A. Otto & Cie. The world's first engine manufacturing company, now it's Klockner-Humboldt-Deutz (Engines Service Manuals page) AG.

 

1890 - Creation of the first thresher.

 

1894 - the first Deutz tractor with a petrol engine of 26 hp, produced by a subsidiary company Deutz in Philadelphia (USA).

 

1927 - the first Deutz MTH 222 with a diesel engine, is the beginning of a mass production of standard tractors.

 

1936 - small agricultural enterprises are equipped with mechanized equipment thanks to the Deutz 11 hp model, typical "agricultural tractor" F1M 414.

 

1937 - acquisition of Klöckner and its renaming in KHD: Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz AG, becomes one of the largest conglomerates of the Reich , which worked in all areas related to engine building: cars and trucks, trains, ships, airplanes, tractors.

 

1949 - serial production of the first tractor with diesel engine Deutz with air cooling. The models F1L514 and F2L514 are created.

 

1955 - a 100 thousandth tractor is produced. Sales reached 380,000 units.

 

1961 - the beginning of cooperation with Fahr AG., Through the exchange of shares in KHD.


1965 - the first German combine harvesters with hydrostatic drive, produced at the Lauingen plant and passed there successful tests.

 

1968 - Deutz 06 series tractors were produced, which received the greatest recognition from all the previously created ones.

 

1968 - KHD acquires part of the shares of Fahr A.G. (Gottmadingen). The brand Deutz-Fahr is being created.

 

1970 - acquisition of Ködel & Böhm (production of combine harvesters).

 

1972 - Intrac series, universal tractor, equipped with numerous automatic fastenings for installation of various tools: front loader and power take-off shaft; a tractor used both in agriculture and in other areas.

 

1978 - the launch of the Deutz-DX series with a capacity of 80-200 hp.

 

1984 - production start of the DX3 series: 46 - 75 hp

 

1989 - production of AgroStar tractors equipped with the world's noiseless cockpit. Power 88 - 143 hp

 

1992 - November 20 - a millionth tractor was produced.

 

1993 - AgroStar 6.71, 6.81 and 8.31 are now equipped with the S.L.H. Electronic Powershift.

 

1995 - Deutz-Fahr is a member of SAME Deutz-Fahr.

 

2001 - the Agrotron TTV series, a new generation of tractors with a stepless transmission and a motor with no loss of power.

 

2009 - Laughingen celebrates the 100th anniversary of the industrial production of threshers.

 

2013 - Series 6 Deutz-Fahr and MaxiVision booth were awarded the German Design Award 2014.

 

2014 - laying of the first stone and the beginning of the construction of a new plant Deutz-Fahr Land on the banks of the Danube in the Bavarian town of Lauingen.
