MID 216 SID 231 FMI 2

The Data channel SAE J1939.

The LCM cannot communicate with other blocks over the SAE J1939 data channel. Open or partial damage to the circuit of the data channel. Shorting the circuit of the data channel to ground or to a higher voltage. The LCM may be defective.

 

MID 216 SID 240 FMI 2

A Program memory.

The LCM can't use its software. Perform re-programming.

 

MID 216 SID 250 FMI 2

A Data Channel SAE J1708.

The LCM control unit can't identify the information received on the SAE J1708 data channel. Invalid messages from other blocks. Check error codes in other control units.

Output voltage of the LCM is equal to or greater than the supply voltage of the LCM. Shorting the wire between the LCM and the relay to the power wire.

Output voltage of the LCM is equal to or greater than the supply voltage of the LCM. Shorting the wire between the LCM and the lamps to the power wire. First of all check all the lamps.
