Case IH is a brand of CNH Industrial Corporation (Case - New Holland) (NYSE: CNHI), with a controlling stake in Fiat Group.

 

Case IH tractors has been active in agriculture for over 170 years.

 

It began operations in 1842, with the establishment of Case threshing company in Racine, Wisconsin, by Jerome Increase Case.

Around the same time, Cyrus McCormick invented the mechanical header and in 1847 created McCormick Harvester in Chicago.

 

In 1902, his company was renamed International Harvester.

 

In 1923, International Harvester introduced its first Farmall tractor.

 

In 1985, Case acquired the core assets of International Harvester Agricultural, making Case IH the second largest agricultural equipment manufacturer in North America.

 

In 1999, Case IH became part of CNH Corporation.

 

The main objective of the cooperation of Case IH with its customers is to develop the most powerful, most productive and most reliable tractors capable of performing the complex tasks facing modern agriculture.
