1991-2000 The first generation of Eurocargo mid-tonnage vehicles was introduced in 1991. New models replaced the previously manufactured Iveco TurboZeta trucks.
Eurocargo trucks were initially produced on the basis of a modular design, which allowed the customer to assemble almost any modification of the vehicle on the basis of a standard platform. The first generation of trucks included over 500 models.
In 1992, the Eurocargo series was first awarded the Truck of the Year Award. Subsequently, trucks of this family repeatedly received this honorary title.
2000 - present. Since 2000, all Eurocargo trucks have been equipped with the new Tector engine, developed by the specialists of the European Engine Alliance (this association includes Iveco, New Holland and Cummins).
In 2003, the truck family was undergoing restyling, during which the appearance and interior of the cab changed significantly.
In 2006, the line of power units was completely updated: now the proposed engines comply with the environmental standards of Euro-4 and Euro-5.
